Role and Responsibilities:
CORPORATE ACCOUNTING ROLE
- Responsible for internal and external financial reporting and control of the company working with Group Financial Controller (management accounts, audited financial statements, budgets)
- Assist the Group Financial Controller/Group COO on finance matters / project work
- Carry out internal controls (handling collections of fees on client invoices, coordinating with financial auditors and internal auditors, and maintaining supporting company records)
- Perform accounting function (cash management function, overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivables, payroll, bank reconciliation, manage expense claims for employees)
- Monitor adherence with compliance policies and procedures
- Monitor capital adequacy
- Manage VAT Accounting & Returns
- Manage annual tax returns
Fund Accountant Role:
- Producing reconciliation of final monthly/quarterly NAV with administrators and ensuring timely production of monthly/quarterly NAV. Covering KSA based Equity and FI funds as well as Real Estate Funds across the FIM Group based in UAE and KSA.
- Production of fees for billing
- Assist in building out our shadow accounting procedures
- Assisting fund audit processes
- Active involvement in internal and external reporting requirements
- Reviewing client reporting
- Regulatory reporting for Funds
- Tax reporting for KSA Funds
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- 5 years’ experience in similar field (audit experience preferred)
- Eligible as CMA Authorised person
- Chartered Accountant or University degree in Accounting or Finance
