Job Description:
We are looking for a meticulous Gold Accountant with a background in manufacturing to manage our financial records and ensure accuracy in all transactions involving gold. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and experience in the manufacturing sector.
- Key Responsibilities:
-Financial Accounting and Reporting:
-Maintain accurate financial records of all gold transactions.
-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
-Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations. - Cost Management:
-Monitor and analyze production costs, including raw materials and labor.
-Prepare cost reports and perform variance analysis.
-Implement cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements. - Inventory Management:
-Oversee the physical inventory of gold and ensure accurate stock records.
-Coordinate with the production and procurement teams to manage inventory
levels.
-Conduct periodic inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. - Budgeting and Forecasting:
-Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
-Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide variance explanations.
-Support management in strategic planning and decision-making processes. - Compliance and Audit:
-Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
-Liaise with external auditors and facilitate audit processes.
-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices. - Other Duties:
-Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
-Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
