Job Description:

As the Marketing Communications Director at Doha Gossip, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s marketing and communications strategies to promote our events and enhance our brand presence. You will lead a team of marketing professionals to create compelling campaigns that engage our target audience and drive attendance to our events.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Doha Gossip’s events and enhance brand awareness.
  2. Brand Management: Manage the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing and communication channels.
  3. Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising, to drive engagement and attendance at events.
  4. Public Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets and influencers to secure coverage for Doha Gossip’s events and activities.
  5. Event Promotion: Collaborate with the events team to develop promotional strategies for each event, including ticket sales, partnerships, and promotions.
  6. Content Creation: Oversee the creation of engaging content, including blog posts, videos, and social media posts, to attract and engage our audience.
  7. Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, using data to inform future strategies and tactics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing and communications, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation.
  • Knowledge of the Dubai nightlife and entertainment industry is a plus.
