Job Summary
The Senior Accountant will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting operations while ensuring compliance with international accounting standards. The role requires strong expertise in IFRS, financial controls, tax compliance, and financial analysis, and includes supporting audits, financial planning, and internal financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial reports in compliance with IFRS and GAAP.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.
- Maintain accurate financial records and implement strong internal controls.
- Oversee tax compliance and support audit processes.
- Monitor project costs and support procurement financial tracking.
- Coordinate with auditors and management on financial reporting.
- Support and guide junior or local accounting staff.
Qualifications
Candidates should meet at least one of the following:
- Chartered Accountant (CA – Institute of Chartered Accountants of India)
- ACCA
- CPA
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cost control, tax compliance, and internal controls.
Technical Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS (essential) and GAAP.
- Experience with multi-currency accounting and financial statement consolidation.
- Understanding of tax planning, audits, financial controls, and risk management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
